Hi, Carmine,

Gotta love it.

I've always had a warm place in my heart for companies that not only announce buy backs, but actually buy the shares back. Too often I've seen companies make the announcement and not follow through. Not so with GAC. Consider: GAC announces $200 million buy back in Jan, '98. Completes buy back sometime during fiscal '98, and reports same in 4Q98 earnings release.

Now, less than a month after they announce completion of the previous buy back, they announce another $200 million buy back. Maybe its me, but I get the feeling Chairman Forstmann and the Board are serious about increasing the the value of our shares.

Any bets that we get a one line mention of shares being repurchased in the next earnings release?

Doubled up in December, thinking about adding some more here/now.

Regards,

Creighton
