Gary: Well the one in '90 was caused caused by a Saddam oil spike.I made lots of money during that one being long BHI and DI (remember Dresser?), especially when ole Saddam torched half of Kuwait, had to be quick though. My only real concern with my long positions in OS is that the liquidation currently taking place in treasuries will go berserker and spark an '87 type crash. Oh well, at least that one was over in 1 day! <vbg>

I do subscribe to Wolanchuck's thesis previously posted. I'd be delighted to discuss that at some future time when the markets are closed. In the mean time I've got some other stuff I want to post here about Iran. Then I'm scurrying over to check out the OEX put premiums! <vbg>
