I spoke to Bob Spear as well. He told me that he suspects that one of the HELE institutional holders is selling stock, but HELE does not know who it is. There are about 80 institutional holders. Typically, if an institutional holder wants to sell stock they will contact HELE to find out if there is an available buyer. In this case, no one has contacted HELE. There have been no fundamental changes in the company that would account for the downward pressure on the stock, and none of the analysts following the stock have or intend to (as far as Spear knows) lower their ratings. The price action of the stock is as mysterious to him as it is to us, apparently.
