VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 1999--Rhombic Corporation announces that the company has re-acquired from Mine-A-Max Corporation 50% of the Rhombic Explorer and a secured fax technology, known as the Fax Key. Mine-A-Max obtained the 50% ownership in the Explorer and Fax Key in negotiations with Rhombic Corporation in June of 1998. Because of an unexpected restructuring of Mine-A-Max Corporation, Rhombic and Mine-A-Max met and mutually agreed that the original agreement be deemed null and void, resulting in Rhombic owning 100 percent of both the Rhombic Explorer and the Fax Key projects. Rhombic Corporation also announces that a second website soon will be created on the internet to handle the anticipated business of the Rhombic Explorer. The beta prototype will be released within a few short weeks, and the general release of the commercial version will be announced shortly after.
