Jim, I agree with you completely. His column was long on emotion, short on facts. I imagine it was his "plain old car" that Barksdale declined a ride in. Dvorak didn't stop to think that Barksdale may have wanted the privacy of his limo to check on some of the many pending deals his company is negotiating. In Dvorak's other column in the same issue, he says he's come to the sudden realization thet Microsoft is web-enabling all its productivity apps. Dooh! Where's he been for the last five months?!! This guy is seriously behind the curve.
