Intel ID stuff: Could anyone provide some details about this such as: can it be disabled in hardware and/or software; what are the up and down sides of this 'feature'; and what was the motivation for providing this 'enhancement' in the first place? Just wondering: who wins; who loses. I'd need to look at this matter further before making my mind up. Thanks, PW.
