I agree with you on the house being the object of my scrutiny. Certain Canadian houses affiliated with the Tier 1 banks do not get get a second look of consternation because the have their world class standing/reputation to live up to.

But then there are a few houses that I have followed (Canaccord in this case) that have consistently squeezed the living daylights of a play. I am not saying that it is bad. I am saying that for the poor shareholder into ECU because of an innocent tip from someone who thinks of ECU as a good long term play my be in for a rude awakening once Canaccord is finished doing what it does best.

It changes the game from a widows and orphans stock to a jump from a skyscraper on fire. Most of the ECU stockholders only know how ECU is doing when they see the closing price in their monthly statement, unlike some of us who see it on at least an hourly basis.
