Ramsey,
You have blown this thing out of proportion. I wasn't sending a message to you to " go back were you belong " . I was simply wondering if given the opportunity (if you were a Chinese citizen ) have you ever considered moving back to China ? This is a question that I have asked many of my foreign friends including my wife. Not one person considered ever moving back to were they were born. Being American born it's sometimes hard to appreciate what we have. To hear from someone who's foreign born that they prefer to stay in the USA versus returning home makes me think the USA must be the greatest country in the world.

I have a Mexican neighbor who works like a dog in a factory 6 days a week at 12 hours a day. He's 53 years old , and just last week I asked him if he liquidated all his assets and moved back to Mexico would he be able to retire ? He said he could live like a king the rest of his life. I then asked him if he would ever consider it ? He said " no way". To think a person would prefer to work like a dog in the USA versus living like a king in his homeland is hard to comprehend for most , except the foreign born .

The USA isn't perfect and lags in some areas but one thing it doesn't lack is the desires of many millions of people world wide that would love to live here. I too am entitled to wave my flag around once in a while which is done to little by all of us Americans including you. It's unfortunate that you didn't interpret my message as so many others did and chose to insult me the way you did. I think it would have been much simpler to ask me to elaborate on my question either publicly or privately.

I also received many private messages regarding this topic and most were surprised and thought you over reacted. Give me one good reason why I would suggest what you thought I did on this board ? I have been a member of SI for many years and if I were a racist that would have shown up long ago.
