Liz, I actually agree with everything you wrote about Christianity. I am very definitely not a Christian. I read what you wrote over at Ask John Galt about feeling attacked or something about your views here, and that it was weird to see Christianity slogans on the Feelings thread. I would agree!! I think Shalom got a little carried away, too, since he knows he is welcome here, and maybe one little fish symbol, but no religious stuff!!
It was not my intent to criticize anyone in particular on the Feelings thread, and I hope you are feeling okay about it now. I was just trying to reemphasize that I hoped this was a place that was open enough to respect all views, and also be polite and civilized at the same time. Shalom has been kind to me on a personal level before, writing me a very sweet and thoughtful email when I was in a lot of turmoil, well knowing that my religious views are far different from his (because I spent a couple of months at Ask God last summer fighting his beliefs ferociously), and not preaching at me at all.
Anyway, sorry if I hurt your feelings!! I try not to hurt anyone's feelings at all here, and am sad myself when I do.
