Well if Toshiba wants to subsidize the sale of AMD processors over those of Intel, they can go ahead and lose money too. There's no way that the intel chip by itself (including motherboard differences) is $800 more than the AMD chipset/motherboard. Not even counting the increased display size!

We seem to be in one of those periodic "Pile on to Intel" periods. I remember that the last one drove intel down to ~$65, and it was quite profitable to have picked up calls and stock at those levels. Waiting to see how far down the "experts" can drive INTC down this time, for another good profit opportunity! -JB
