Coby, I would just take the prednisone too. For the moment, or several. You know what it can do, and are looking for options.
MJ and I definitely need more light ~ fifteenth day of rain up here. It makes healthy people crazy. There can be nine to eleven months of this. We get more than than Portland, and they're already at 35 inches since October. It's not the water, it's the clouds - it doesn't come in sharp storms. It's gray and wet right now, and gray means no chance to dry out. It's interesting that in the Journals of Lewis and Clark note is made that the men camped west of here for the winter were going crazy. They were desperate to get out of here. It was the most stressful part of their journey.
Obviously, we're planning to move.
There was a time three years ago when the drug came out of my system. I popped up like a cork. It happens naturally. When you push, it has effect. It's a euphoric. It probably won't lose its novelty for a long time.
They're going to "core" the right femur March 29th. They really hollow out the bone, so you have to stay off it longer than a replacement hip, or you'll crack it. No-no. It's supposed to give me a hip I can lean on while they do the other; but it has to be done first.
The coring is supposed to be a somewhat delicate operation, harder to do than the replacement hip I guess. Like remodeling. But I have this brainiac to do it. I don't think they can kill me, so I'm not even thinking about it, except the downtime. |
