I had promised to talk with the lawyer handling the NPA file. I did that today. His name is Paul.

He explained that it would be premature to refer to NPA as defunct. It is simply that the shares are now illiquid since the company has been delisted by the reporting agency (VSE). The shares could now languish or be reactivated on a different exchange. Usually there are high costs associated with reactivating a company so this could be an obstacle.

He stated that the group that is looking over the NPA situation have not gone away and continue to look the situation over.

Since the shares are now illiquid a brokerage considers the shares to have a value of zero. This also assumes that there are no assets although this has not been determined yet since the financial statement has not been prepared yet.

He advises that the best way to monitor what the developments will be in the future is to keep and eye on the sedar.com site since any official news will be posted there.

Hope this helps.
