WAYYY OFF TOPIC - VENTING.

For those not familiar, the Washington Wizards are an NBA basketball team. I would like to be a fan.Really would. But in the last 6 years they have:
Traded a number one choice for Scott Skiles ( long out of league).
Traded all star Tom Gugliotta AND three #1 choices for Chris Webber
then traded Chris Webber for Mitch Richmond ( who is 33, and an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year and therefore likely to just walk away)
...so in effect they traded 4 # 1 draft picks and two young talents, Gugliotta and Webber, for a guy who won't even be on the team next year. They also, in the meantime, traded talented young Rasheed Wallace for old ( in NBA terms) Rod Strickland. And signed the 33 year old Rod to a very big 5 year deal. Also gave no better than solid Juann Howard a 100 million dollar deal that hamstrings all operating room under the salary cap for years. And you think AXC management has been bad at times. The Wizards are now, in my opinion, the worst franchise on professional basketball and will be for years to come ....all because of this series of awful trades ....
...and the AXC moral to this story? People selling their shares now are probably making trades of similar quality. Hope so anyway. Hanging in as AXC shareholder....but losing the wizards...lol. Can you short sports franchises?
