Perceptronics Shows IC3D Technology at
International VRML99 Conference

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Perceptronics, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PCTR - news) announced
today that it successfully showcased its IC3D(TM) Technology for Internet Collaborative 3D at the international VRML99
conference, held in Paderborn, Germany, during February 24-26, 1999.

Dr. Gershon Weltman, Perceptronics' chairman and chief executive officer, said, ''The VRML99 Conference was an important
milestone on our IC3D roll-out schedule, and our technical team did a great job in meeting it. Response to the IC3D
Technology was fully positive, and the Perceptronics VRML99 team made many valuable business and technical contacts.

''The VRML Conference is a yearly event attended by more than 300 of the leading developers of Internet technology and 3D
applications,'' continued Dr. Weltman. ''Perceptronics presented IC3D at its dedicated exhibit booth and at the Web3D
Roundup. The Web3D Roundup is a fast-paced public forum featuring many of the world's leading VRML accomplishments.
We were honored to be included in this premier event, since over half the Web3D Roundup applications were not accepted.

''Perceptronics demonstrated its IC3D Technology using the Head of the River Challenge (HOTRC). HOTRC is a
collaborative 3D rowing simulation that allows multiple players, operating from separate Internet computers to row together in
the same shell, and race against live or automated players in other shells. The Web3D Roundup HOTRC presentation was
done in real time on a large screen before a highly sophisticated audience, and the Perceptronics team carried it off without a
hitch.

''HOTRC was created together with Shout Interactive of San Francisco as a proof-of-concept demonstration of Perceptronics
IC3D/InterGame Platform. Shout Interactive is the leading developer of innovative 3D Web sites. More information about
Shout Interactive can be found at shoutinteractive.com.

''Our presentation at VRML99 is one of a number of presentations planned this year for technical conferences and commercial
trade shows,'' Dr. Weltman concluded. ''The publicity and contacts generated by these presentations will help the launch of our
IC3D products and services. These are described on our IC3D web site, which also contains a scaled-down version of
HOTRC.''

The IC3D/InterGame architecture has its origins in well-established DoD protocols for high speed communication in networked
virtual simulation, and also accommodates open Internet tools such as VRML and standard browsers. The success of the
HOTRC demonstration shows how this powerful architecture can help establish next-generation collaborative 3D applications
for education, commerce and communication, as well as for entertainment.

Perceptronics performs research and development and manufactures and markets computer-based simulation systems for
