Dear JDN,
I had another commercial idea while driving to pick-up a chimney cap.
Going with my idea of targeting the older crowd:
A voice in the background say, "Yours, mine, and ours."
With the, "Yours," an older (post-65) man or woman is at his/her notebook web surfing or watching a DVD movie.
With the, "Mine," the husband or wife of "yours" is doing something like working on a spreadsheet tracking stocks or doing household account--something totally non-play--on another notebook.
With, "Ours," these two people are sitting beside each other either: a.) playing a computer game, something that requires joy sticks, at their desktop; or b). going with my version one commercial, looking at pictures of their grand (or great-grand)children.
Depends if CPQ wants to go the elderly outside, but young inside or sentimental route. The sentimental route might be the way if CPQ sells scanners :o)
Hummmmm... how about if I collect our commercial ideas and send them to Compaq? Maybe this is the best way for us to get free notebooks :o)
Lynn, temporarily on until the roofers make me unplug this elephantine desktop.
