I also want to say, that in itself that fact that people in the company have been at "second tier universities" is not a red flag to me. If it is legitimate that Dr. Palmer was where he says he was, and if he represents himself honestly, that is fine.

I have been to "first tier" and to "second tier" universities. On the whole I found the education at the second tier universities to be the more rigorous and the teaching much better. The main difference for first tier is in the area of research. Nor do I consider it a black mark at all that the first degree this guy had was an associates degree. That indicates to me that he would have a very, very solid foundation. I would guess that he used that AS degree to make money, though I am not sure. In any case - that does not matter.

If the guy went on to get a PhD after having real world industry experience, I would call that a gold star, and not a detraction.

I am still interested in substantive material on this company, their products and their principals.
