The $199 EIDE Internal Orbs are already shipping to end users like you and me. Castlewood starting shipping them this past week. Reports are coming in on Usenet that it is a very fast drive, and people are very happy with their purchase. Castlewood Customer service is reported to be extremely courteous, fast...and FREE.

You can order $199 external parallel port and SCSI Orbs at pcmall.com although these models have not been released by Castlewood yet. But they are due this month. The USB and Firewire Orbs will be available "Second Quarter 1999."
