Steven --

I think the joint venture between COMS and Siemens precludes COMS being bought. I don't know much about FORE except its ATM is for LANs. However, I hold a small position just in case. . . :)

As for CS, I saw their presentation at the RS conference and afterwards ran into Peter Sommerer, NN's former COO, who said it felt like a wake. I had to agree.

NOKA and ERICY have stated they're looking for acquisitions in the US, and I'm guessing they'll be small to mid-sized companies, not major acquisitions like LU's purchase of ASND. Having said that, I know they've showed interest in NN -- and would certainly benefit from their ATM position --- but I don't see it happening for a couple years -- not until TM's ready to give up control. I could be wrong. I just know that was the sticking point when they were in discussions with LU.

Cheers!

Pat
