For the sake of discussion: No one seems to be exactly sure just how Wavetech/DCTC synergy will work. Here is my guess. Wavetech (Interpretel) proprietary technology provides the opportunity for the following: 1. Allows DCI (w/IIXC Contract and Lots of Capacity to fill) to create a value added local/international calling product to customers: __(a)Calling card (prepaid or not)and subscribers receive single point access to voice mail, fax mail and email. __(b) World wide discount long distance __(c) Conference calling up to 12 lines __(d) International 800 access __(e) Interpretation/translation services in 90 languages Hence a "virtual office" for business and travel or otherwise. 2. These technologies enhance DCI's product, elevating their desirability/competivness to future customers and alliances. These products are also resaleable to other major carriers and card issuers.
