Jonathan, I have followed Remedy for quite some time myself.
It appears the products themselves have been excellent, however over the past year I have read of the poor management structure in place at Remedy. There were changes in the compensation of sales personnel that effected a continuous hiring process, leading to a less experienced sales force, poor motivation, lowered customer confidence, etc.
As the writer Stephen Quickel was giving his opinion, I found it interesting what he didn't say. This was a $50+ stock at the beginning of '97. To fall below $10 (Quickel stated it fell TO $10) is an enormous drop and indicates problems.
Can anyone elaborate as to where Remedy is in regards to cleaning up an obvious mess?
Regards,
Alan Lynch
