I disagree. It's true that Robotics seems to be losing it's power (especially in the face of Rockwell shipping out its samples ahead of the projected date (Feb5)).
But the fact is USRX still dominates in support by most major ISP's and will surely benefit in the AOL expansion, now that they are finally getting around to fixing things.
Neither companies have REALLY been able to give positive information concerning the 56k downstream technology altogether.
It seems to me that Rockwell is attempting to copy Robotics industrial strategies (like the programmable chip), and only time will tell if it is able to capitalize on Robotic's lack of PR.
Who's ahead? No one, if you ask me.
