I am moderately familiar with the company. They seem to be
signing up a lot of people for their process.

They trade on the OTC bulletin board.

From their press release:
"Startech Environmental Corporation is an
environmental technology company whose
Plasma Waste Converters can remediate
and recycle hazardous and nonhazardous
wastes, organic and inorganic, solids,
liquids, gases and sludge, by the process
of molecular dissociation into useful
commodity products. Highly contaminated
aqueousliquids can also be processed and
remediated. Depending on the waste feed, the
PWC can produce, as a commodity, a synthesis
gas the Company calls Plasma Converted Gas(TM) (PCG).
The PCG can be used in anumber of
ways including its use as a chemical
feedstock to produce polymers and industrial
chemicals, but the most common use will be as
a fuel for the generation of electricity, and
for powering heating and cooling systems."

Sounds a little like Molten Metal.
