Tabler, You are incorrect about jets not being compliant. Its the FAA ATC system that warrants worry. All Boeing and Airbus aircraft are fully self contained and compliant. The latest from FAA is that they "are working on the problem." Which means we are in trouble. Another gov. agency underwater. The worst that can be expected is massive delays if the FAA ATC reverts to manual AC seperations... In addition, most of the major airlines are self insured.
