Dan,
<<What I am saying is who judges whether a woman or man "has" more spirituality than the other? And what "spirituality" are you judging?>>
Does it matter who judges? Are you saying you have never met a family where the women was more spiritually attuned, ,more religious than the man?
All of your answers come down to the basic tenet, of you just have to have faith, or you have to believe in order to believe. Under that scenario, any thought process can be justified.
<<Because God says something and I agree, you say it is chauvinism. >> NOt me, Dan. The definition of chauvinism is when a women is denied an equal opportunity for no other reason than her gender.
Dan, when people are asked to believe, they need reasons. That is not a failing, it is rational. Again, there is no difference between women not having the right to lead and not having the right to vote. If you ask someone to believe they dont have the basic right, you have to have a reason to back it up. a non-believer is not going to give up basic rights just because someone says, "you have to believe in order to believe".
No one will give up basic rights without a rational reason. Nor should they, IMO.
