<<Also, regarding stock manipulation by MM's, I suggest looking at SALT / SPF. SALT right now is my largest holding, having bought at around 18, and is one of the most promising stocks I've seen in over a year. About a week ago, it switched from NASDAQ to NYSE and it now trades as SPF. Look at the difference in the daily volume and trading range since the switch. >>

It makes sense that a NYSE listing should calm volatility, at any given time only a few market makers in the NASDAQ box will have anything real to do, bring in a few SOES lifts or hits and they'll move as a pack to stay away from the trading. Change that to a single market maker who has some obligation manage the trading and intraday volatility might be reduced.

I did want to point out, however, one thing about your use of the change in volume to support your point. NASDAQ double counts volume. Take that into consideration and you'll see that there really hasn't been a change in the volume tof the stock you mentioned since it moved to the Board.
