Because Case and Pittman said basically that they had complied
only with the letter and not spirit of the settlement with the
AGs. That suspended marketing except for what was "in the pipeline".
The settlement agreement wasn't signed until Friday. Apparently,
from the announcement of the settlement on 1/31 until Friday,
AOL was pumping out mailings (new design by the way, and without the overload warning required by the settlement). In other words, **at best** there will be a 10-14 day hiatus.

Not sure the AGs can do anything about it -- but you can be sure
they are now just waiting for AOL to do something they can go after it for.
