The Wendell and the Weasel:
Thank you, Brad, I'll give this a try. First, on the inactive and therefore ineligible list for Wendells (as determined by whether they have posted on this thread lately less often than Sheldon has): Jean, Buck, J. Saf, Night Writer, BuzzVA, Ed Flynn, marvin smith, CareyM, Duke Matlock (sold out his holdings), and Steve Felix. Others ineligible as winning too often: Brad, David, Steve and the Four O'Clock Guy. That only leaves, I think, Rob and R. Jaynes. And the Wendell goes to . . . . Rick Jaynes, for his faithful research and posting on the thread through thick and thin.
Now for the Cornered Weasel award. Rob isn't eligible because he doesn't get cornered and, beside, we think he isn't a weasel, probably. (How's that for a vote of confidence, Rob?)
Since these are the early days of the Cornered Weasel, I think we can scan back through thread history for nominees. And here are our finalists: Jaffo and Bob Jordan, however unfriendly, actually have been motivated by their investment in NRID or whatever it is calling itself these days. So no matter how cornered they have been, given the NRID chart, they cannot win:
