Filtered Souls Entertainment Announces Nationwide Distribution Agreement

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 1999--FILTERED SOULS ENTERTAINMENT, INC. (OTC BB: FSOL) announces that its joint venture partner SKYLINE RECORDS reports that it has signed a long-term exclusive music distribution agreement with industry giant PRIVATE EYE/MERCURY/UNIVERSAL.
This now ensures a timely release of all FILTERED SOULS/SKYLINE recordings, which will receive nationwide distribution. As a result of this agreement, the FILTERED SOULS/SKYLINE joint venture anticipates that this should result in significant revenues for the two companies in the near future.
SECRET SERVICE: SECRET SERVICE, the duo from the Filtered Souls family, has just finished recording their first solo LP (full length album) for SKYLINE RECORDS. It features the Gold-selling singer Shiro, courtesy of Virgin Records and the Platinum Latino Rap legend Frost. Frost is featured on a SECRET SERVICE song called Latin Kings, geared heavily toward the Hip-Hop and Latin music markets. The album, tentatively entitled TOP SECRET, was recorded and mixed at Paramount Recording Studios in Hollywood, Calif. The first single is scheduled for an April 1999 release and the LP is set to hit stores in May.
MAD ONE: SKYLINE RECORDS has licensed a second song to WCW Wrestling. On Jan. 26, 1999, MAD ONE and KONNAN (the WCW wrestling star) recorded the song together at Paramount Recording Studios. TIME WARNER filmed a video for the new song entitled Bow Wow Wow in Fullerton, Calif., two days later. On Feb. 10, 1999, MAD ONE and KONNAN appeared and performed on the Donnie and Marie Show, which airs Monday - Friday at 9 a.m. on ABC (this episode is scheduled to air on June 4, 1999). The entitled Bow Wow Wow video made its debut on Feb. 22, 1999 on the very popular Turner Network Television (TNT) wrestling show, Monday Night Nitro. The video was used as a hook for the show's millions of viewers. Short clips of the video aired during transitions to and from commercials throughout the broadcast until, finally, in the last few minutes of the show, the video was played. Bow Wow Wow will be featured on MAD ONE's forthcoming album. Recording is scheduled to begin in March 1999.
FILTERED SOULS has retained promotional firm Wesroc Corporate Communications and its associate, Twin Towers Financial Group, to provide consulting services for a period of twelve months in connection with the Company's public relations dealings with broker/dealers and the investing public.
The Company has agreed to a 4% convertible debenture financing due March 1, 2000, in the total amount of $2 million. Holders of the debenture will be entitled to convert the principal amount to one million shares of the Company's common stock at a conversion price of $2 per share no earlier than 180 days after closing.
