Their Jan 14, 1999 press release states...

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 1999--Microphonics (OTC BB:MRPS) has entered into a contract to supply Ultrasound diagnostic equipment to all of the 6553 Ford Motor Co. [NYSE:F - news] automotive dealers in the US and Canada. The test equipment will be supplied through the SPX Dealer Equipment network under the Rotunda label.

Their Feb 3, 1999 announcement states...

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 1999--Microphonics (OTC BB:MRPS), through its Ultraphonics division, has delivered 22 of its 111R CK diagnostic systems to the first of the 64 GM plants covered under the blanket purchase order with General Motors. The Ultraphonics units retail at $2950.00 each.

Considering, Microphonics sold 6553 units to Ford at a cost near $3,000 per unit, that's about $19.7 million in revenues. Anyway, that is how I arrived at the $20 to $40 million revenue figure. BTW, that's 6,553 x 3,000 = 19,659,000.

I could be wrong on what exactly they sold Ford, but there are other announcements of sales that will make up any differences in my estimate so I'm comfortable for now.

Now consider, if we move in the $20 per shr and above range, 1-2 point moves in price, (up or down) will make todays trades seem like micro-management of a lost cause.

The trouble with selling a stock with a lot of upside potential, is that it is easy to get forced out of a good position. Anyway, that is my take on MRPS and todays trading.
