Found some interesting articles by Gerard Jackson writing in The New Australian (thanks to a link on the Gold Price Monitor thread).

He talks about the current economic and stock market booms as fueled by credit expansion, taking the Austrian school of economics point of view. I guess you could call him Kurt Richebacher on a budget for those of us who don't subscribe to Richebacher's letter.
