TO ALL... A lurker just learning to get on line. Anyone ever think of how GIFS is gonna invest their $117m? What their next play is gonna be? Go check out the MTCI thread (@.75 Joining the Big Guys). Apparently, their Priscott, Whitley and Rose boss went over to MTCI. It all starts around post 1999 followed by MTCI press release few days later. Not to start a rumor, but to get y'alls opinion of all this. Could GIFS be setting themselves up to buy MTCI? MTCI has been clobbered down to 1/16 with S-8 144 shares and conversions. It could be a viable aquisition. I don't own any MTCI but am considering picking up some to trade (maybe even to hold if this pans out). (Someone once called them a very cheap option.) GIFS has mentioned they wanted to get into Int'l banking and with their cash flow from CRIC, it doesn't appear so far fetched. Any thoughts, comments, ideas. How's this for a new twist to this thread. GJC
