Sophie, Also, the company has three divisions: The first two are hardware oriented and focus on the automotive and industrial sectors, respectively (each with their own detection equipment models). The third develops software to support the hardware units, enabling the unit to recognize the desired sound "signatures" without relying on humans to do that. Apparently their technology is now in its fifth generation. The detectors can recognize (and therefore predict) very specific sounds like early abnormality in an Chevy engine's rod bearings or hose vacuum leak. Read fully thru this thread from the beginning looking for company product references and links to other info on the company, even a taped interview of the CEO, Jimmie Gayle (if you have Real Audio).
