This is a great idea, but may not be possible. When I had MediaOne cable access installed, the technician had to upgrade the in-home cable conduit to the cable modem -- apparently, the typical, off-the-shelf coax just wouldn't cut it. Perhaps the adventurous homeowner could do his own hardwiring, cable modem installation, and software installation. MGG
