NB99.09-4] Nukem Inc has refuted World Wide Minerals'
allegations that Nukem had unlawfully sought and obtained rights
to market Kazakh uranium which had ‘supposedly' been awarded to
WWM. WWM's allegations were made in an amendment to a
lawsuit against the Republic of Kazakhstan that WWM is pursuing
in the US. Citing various earlier contracts and agreements, Nukem
has declared that it will ‘defend itself successfully' against WWM's
allegations and has said it will ‘prosecute its own numerous
legitimate claims' should WWM ‘persist in its interference…and its
