I think it is safe to say it will be a (long) while before Linux does any damage at all for the home OS. That said, Linux appears to be gaining strength as a serious server (e.g., web and application) OS, and may be a p.i.a. for MSFT re: NT. As a shareholder of MSFT, I'd like to see MSFT play straight up with Linux and release an Office suite for that OS. Make some money while they figure out if they need a new strategy for NT. Randy
