I've been trading options for two years with E*Trade and it's as simple and straightforward as trading stocks. The information support they provide is great like for example the "option chains". I have a friend whose been trying to trade options with Schwab online for a few months and he's going nuts. He has to carry a cheat card with him to know how to enter an options symbol based on strike price and expiration date because Schwab won't provide you the option chains associated with a stock symbol.

And if you ever become a heavy trader you'll love the Platinum Power E*Trade service with streaming quotes and direct visibility into market maker quotes for both stocks and options. I've often been able to sell at better than bid price and buy at better than the ask price just because of the ability to monitor Level II market activity in real time.

Ramon.
