>>>The first quarter is traditionally the slowest for sales to schools. As a result Bridges only projects 10% of annual sales to the first quarter. (175 new sites). The San Bernardino sale has far exceeded this projection.<<<
Boolish, This is from the February update by the company.....if we notice that they, Bridges, only project 10% of annual sales from first quarter.....I think that seeing that they DOUBLED this figure is quite significant. I am not sure why you feel these numbers for Q1 are not as great as you had thought.....I have to say that doubling their projection for a quarter is stellar. Waldo had put on his update in February that he believes that 1999 sales projections are probably a bit understated and I think this is true as well......we have all most likely experienced how a company feeds on its own success and as BIT has this much success so early in the year, I believe their sales force will be motivated and confident to continue to grow BIT's business. I think these results are wonderful.....how refreshing to see a company doing what and more than it has promised and projected......
Boolish, I say all of the above not to argue with you but you asked for some thoughts on the subject so I thought I would give you mine. I hope you do not take offence.
To all, Today again, I found it tough not to sell some shares but I held on and decided that I would not let some go to simply buy back at a higher price......today we saw some selling but not in the panic mode at all. Yes, the price went down quickly but I believe someone was given a lesson in the woes of a market sell order on a thinly traded stock....it can be a tough lesson.......they call it a whipsaw and I believe that those who sold today under $2.70 will most likely be buying back their stock at higher prices starting tomorrow. The selling volume was not there and as fast as she can go down .25, she can go up .25. Remember, just last week we were sitting at $2.00 - $2.20.........look at it now.......you will not see $2.20 again for this stock in my opinion. Just as we said goodbye to $1.90 resistance in January, we will say goodbye to $3.00 resistance by the end of March for sure in my opinion.
BUT HEY GUYS.....WHAT DO I KNOW?........I PEDDLE METAL FOR A LIVING!!!!!!!
enjoy the day tomorrow.
