This pegs Prince Charles as a ROYAL LIAR...

Message 8119511

The Prince emphatically states that GM herbicide traits cause more chemical to be used on his web page? How does that hold up in the light of good science?

Looks like Monsanto may be catching on to the "game" in the UK and Ireland. This is the first time I have seen the word "accused" in a news release from the Monsanto side. Perhaps Monsanto is taking a less passive approach. This seems warranted given the degree to which they have been taking abuse.

Fighting back...a good sign. Kill the bad science, it is proving to be damaging in ways that go far beyond just Monsanto as a company. Just like the Royal Society said.

(from the story)
"research to be published this week on Monsanto's GM Irish sugar beet trials last year would show that GM beet (engineered to withstand Monsanto's herbicide RoundUp) resulted in 40 per cent less herbicide use compared to that used by Irish farmers growing conventional
beet. The GM crop had also generated a 10 per cent yield benefit."
