Good evening mccowner! Yup, I'm still alive. This cold, flu, or pneumonia (or whatever the hell I had) took all the spunk out of me for awhile. My lovely wife actually got mad at me today for not going in to see a Doctor. I really do feel much better tonight, and I hope to get back on track soon.

I know I will upset some people by saying this, but I believe that the past few days, and the trading range the stock was in, was good for the stock.
The lack of volatility (and therefore the reduced excitement and media pressure) would no doubt allow the company some breathing room where they could focus on the business rather at hand rather than trying to deal with all the hype and hoopla that a volatile stock price brings. I'm confident that they are working to ensure that the infrastructure within the company is in place in order to support the growth and increased scrutiny that the Nasdaq listing and the European office will bring.

I have had the unfortunate experience of working within a company where the drive to expand and push up the share prices was waaaaay beyond what the company could realistically do. The shares did go higher, but when the promises couldn't be kept - because the infrastructure wasn't in place to support the promises - the stock tanked big time. If only the Senior management had taken the time to ensure that the rest of the organization was ready, then that company would have achieved so much more (and the share value would have kept going straight up - and deservedly so).

Again, I see that this is the calm before the storm, and as the management has said before, they are making sure that this company will be a winner for the long haul. Nothing this management group has done, has made me question their thinking or their commitment to implementing their business plans.

I am holding my shares, and I am looking for good results for 1998, better results in Q1 99 on higher margins, a new office in Europe, a Nasdaq listing, and a good promotional blitz in the U.S. to go with it. I also believe that we will see some new strategic partners announced over the next while.

I remain, a somewhat healthier Crazy Canuk.
