Hello Dan,

Forgive me for taking so long on this one.
There was much good with the link you provided but I do have difficulty with the issue of baptism as they present it. I have prayed concerning this as you asked me to before responding and look forward to comparing views.
For clarity, I believe scripture shows us salvation is entirely by grace and baptism by immersion is an act of obedience. An outward expression of faith, following Jesus's example as He was baptized by John. The implication that the physical act of baptism is necessary for salvation I view as a doctrine of works negating "...whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Waiting on your thoughts.
God bless you my friend.
John
