No offense but what's the big deal about Ted?
Assuming you followed him as long as I have, he prompted us to get into SGI at around Can $.60 (post spit). Even the slowest ones amongst us must have caught on before it hit $1 and we all had every opportunity in the world to sell 50% at a double or much better to recover our initial investment.
Ted just like the vast majority of us didn't have the foggiest idea what was ahead of us. Let's face it, all the Carter guys are penny resource players who know what an IP is, who may be able to calculate future value of possible, indicated or proven resources in the ground but none of us had the faintest notion of what we were in for when we entered the gambling game. YET WE DID, bright eyed and bushy tailed!
Fools we were, not because SGI is a bad deal but because we put our money into a game we knew nothing about. Some of us have spent a lot of time learning and have come to the conclusion that we are now sitting on a stock that is worth way more than it was when hype pushed it up to VSE highs.
This is not a case of HOPING, this is a case of doing research and recognizing that the closer we get, the dirtier the game will get and judging by recent developments, we are bloody close.
IMHO GLB will come around. They might be greedy but I doubt they are stupid ... NO CASINO with a half a BILlLION potential liabilities hanging over their head.
Richmond will fly simply because BC needs it and needs it badly!
