"Robert" I have been one of the original CY investors since its private days when Mercia started the company - I have a substantial holding of CY. And I was there when the company went public with Mercia's technology. I've also hired the company to develop some software for my own company. I've been following this thread for months now and I have been wondering why you seem to have a personal problem with Mercia. I was at the IMAX for 3web's launch and the feedback I received was very good. That was the case for all speakers. I wonder why you keep suggesting that you felt that Mercia's presentation in particular was poor? Especially coming from someone who wasn't there! Earlier you posted (June 18, 1998): 'I'm meeting with a friend who was at the press conference and I'll see if I can get any more info from him'. Lately you've been posting that you were there. Interesting... I'm a personal friend of Paul's and I've watched his company grow. Since Mercia fired the last Cybersurf President, his ex-partner, he was able to close the deals that jump-started the company to its current success. The fact is that every deal in the history of the company Mercia put together. 3web was Mercia's and George Gonzo's (CTV) baby and Mercia was the one that brought all the companies together. Mercia brought Hammett aboard later to put the necessary financing in place to launch such a huge project as 3web. I've personally seen how 3web version 2 for the Edmonton launch has come to life, and the hard work Mercia and his programming team have put into the product. I'm a proud shareholder of CY and a good friend of the President's. "Robert", I'm really disappointed in your characterization of Paul. I don't think you've actually seen him in action because your comments are unfair and - more importantly - simply not accurate. Paul has certainly proven to me that, with CY under his direction, 3web will be a success across Canada. COZACD
