No, this is just for the MII's they are talking PR 366 as starting production with 2.2V VCC.

Of course nobody has seen any parts.

Conceptually the single chip is great and I am sure the appliance market will go this route.

However you get the best results with a dedicated function ala CPU or graphics engine. Also it is much easier to get out in a timely manner and gives OEMS a way to differentiate the end products.

Remember the stupid MPACT multi-media processor Wes Patterson group - Chromatic research was flogging a year or so ago - a complete flop - it did a lot of functions- modem - sound etc but none of them well. A complete flop it was too.
