I had hoped for a bit of news to pass on by now. I have heard some news (interesting but still only part of the story) and I'm waiting for the balance of it to come in any day now. Apologies for the delay.

I will be at the Prospector's and Developer's Convention (along with 5,000 to 7,000 other mining types) in Toronto from March 14 to 17. Mongolia is sending a delegation including the Minister of Agriculture and Industry. This is the minister in charge of mining, and he has been appointed only a few months ago. I hope that various groups interested in mining and Mongolia can meet at a roundtable-type of gathering to discuss various aspects of exploration and development in Mongolia. I would expect to hear good things from the Minister while he is our guest in Canada, including many of the positive structures in place in Mongolia that make it easier to do business. Also present will be the head of the Mining Authority of Mongolia, the principal government administrative and regulatory body that works separately from the legislative bodies.
