Titan Motorcycle Introduces New High-Performance ‘Phoenix' Line
PHOENIX, AZ - March 2, 1999 -- Titan Motorcycle Co. of America (NASDAQ: TMOT) announced today that its new line of motorcycles will be formally introduced to the motorcycle public on Wednesday, March 3, at Daytona “Bikeweek99.” The new Phoenix line will consist of four new models—two rubber mounted versions and two solid mount versions.
“It's perhaps the most exciting announcement that we have made in quite some time,” said CEO Frank Keery. “The introduction of our new Phoenix line of motorcycles retailing at the $20,000 level is the result of almost two years of planning and development work at Titan. We are proud to put our Titan name on these exceptionally valued,
high-performance motorcycles.” Shipments of the Phoenix line are scheduled to begin in April from Titan's new 60,000 square-foot facility.
