Thanks for the link to the article. I found it to be the most balanced overview of IOM's position that I've read. IMO, if (still a very questionable if) IOM does replace the floppy - or simply become widespread enough to be the recognized standard for removable storage - the upside potential is very big. Iomega will then be in a position to increase their margins on the drives themselves. I think Ken is in error in viewing Zip as a commodity like hard drives; that'll only be the case if other companies can produce a competitive drive that can read Zip disks.
