Please re-read Iomega's 2nd Q '98 Conference Call, particularly about Jaz. I think you'll find that Jaz was admittedly hit very hard.

Incorrect. About 500,000 SparQ units were sold the first 7 months of 1998, and only 9 months of release. This compares to 1.5 Million Jaz/Jaz units shipped TOTAL in the 3 year history of the line at that time. Clearly by sales figures and Iomega's own admissions in the Conference Call, SparQ was devastating to Jaz.

And now ORB is shipping. ORB is superior to either SparQ or Jaz/Jaz2 in every way. And SCSI and Parallel versions are on the way soon.
