If PNU had an interest in MTC, it may regret stimulating others to move faster. PNU itself will now be forced to act sooner than it might have planned. If DD really takes over MTC, an event speculated about almost two years ago ?? in Barrons, I think the pace of acquisitions will accelerate. As Peter pointed out in an earlier post, we should not think everything will be dictated by the science. Many other factors will determine who buy whom rather than what makes sense to those who have a scientific background. This is after all an upper management area. <g>.
