Well, Alcatel bought Xylan yesterday for $1.7 billion yesterday, about 4.7 times trailing sales. Go back 3 years or so and you will find that Xylan and Plaintree were comparable in sales. Just indicates to me the magnitude of the screw-up under Bruce.

Somehow Xylan executed and Plaintree didn't. Fortunately, I made some profit on Xylan, but it is only a fraction of my losses on Plaintree.

At this point there is hardly any point to selling Plaintree, except to gain tax losses in my taxable account. So what are the odds that anything will come out of the association with PMCS? (Rhetorical.)

Charlie.
