I appreciate the update. Actually I had been given that number by the IR group as one to reach Keith Balderson through. Whereas I'm in Nova Scotia I have avoided calling for the moment. As a friend of mine told me once when we lived in the Artic, "the next best thing to being there can get expensive after awhile."
Did the gentleman you spoke to give any reasoning to the statement that they wanted to keep things quiet. Curious if its a matter of not wanting to say anything or not having anything to say. Was 'Condor' another company or his name? Did he indicate what his position was with Richland ?
I spoke to Keith once in the fall regarding this project and he was definitely very positive even to the point that they would be mining (strip mining) this property by May 10th.I realize that this is a spec play and that other than a property claim and a company name there may be little else. Guess I'm just trying to confirm my suspicions in this regard.I also realize that if they have the product and a market (via signed contract) that's all that's required for this to move.
The only information I can find on the company is on the VSE site and a few news items on Canstock. Not sure if it's all uptodate or not.

The Vancouver Stock Exchange has accepted for filing an option agreement dated November 21, 1995 between Richland Mines Inc. ('Richland') and Diamond Lake Minerals Inc. ('Diamond Lake') (David Houston, William Houston and Brian King) pursuant to which Richland will acquire a 50% interest in 42 mineral claims located in Redford Township, Frontenac County, Ontario. Consideration is $10,000 and $150,000 exploration expenditures.Upon completion of the planned exploration, Richland will have to make a production decision. If Diamond Lake chooses not to share the costs of putting the property into production, then the company can increase its interest to 75% by paying all costs. If costs are shared, then Richland and Diamond Lake will each retain a 50% interest in the property. In the event that production of the property does not go forward by January 1, 1997, then the company's share interest in the property will be reduced to a 10% net carried interest.
